K2 PON2OON

K2 Powder Rocker profile and a responsive Fir/Aspen core create an unsinkable ski for even the deepest of days. Outfitted with Carbon Boost technology, these Pon2oons will remain playful and rebound at every turn.

DIMENSIONS: 157 / 132 / 122
SIZES: 159, 169, 179, 189

K2 Crescendo

Introducing the all-new K2 Crescendo. Designed for one purpose … skiing bottomless pow. The Crescendo features K2's patented Spectral Braid Technology, a lightweight aspen/paulownia core and a powder rocker profile giving the Crescendo unprecedented float and maneuverability on even the deepest days. The Crescendo is the one tool your quiver has been missing. Discover deeper days ahead with the Crescendo.

DIMENSIONS: 155 / 132 / 144
SIZES: 159, 168, 177, 186

K2 Mindbender 116

If you're an old friend of dreamy powder days but a stranger to fatty skis, allow us to introduce you to the K2 Mindbender 116 C Skis. Release these light yet hefty powder players into their natural habitat to surf through deep snow, or find a sturdy edge hold and plow through chop and crud without missing a beat. The Mindbenders are almost too good to be true, and they're sure to make you a convert. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the snow!

DIMENSIONS: 143 / 116 / 133
SIZES: 172, 179, 186, 193

Meier Strata

If charging big lines is your style, this ski won’t back down. This big mountain ski charger is a stiffer, wider, and full rocker version compared to the more classic 5-point ski, the Eureka, and was previously called Heritage Fat. The 127mm underfoot with early rise will keep you surfing the deep stuff on those bluebird powder days. This is one of our top picks for heli skiing!

DIMENSIONS: 145 / 127 / 135
SIZES: 183, 192

Winterstick Roundtail

Surfy and fun, the Roundtail is a directional powder board that can handle anything you throw at it. Don't let the powder board moniker faze you, it still carves like a champ. Long low rise nose, initiated just before the contact point in combination with full camber lets the board shape keep you on top of the snow, with minimal plowing in front of the board.

SPECS: 30mm of Taper & 59/41 nose/tail powder balance
SIZES: 148, 153, 158(w), 163(w), 168(w)

Avalanche Rescue Gear

Float Airbag: The BCA Float avalanche airbag system is designed to keep you on the surface during an avalanche. It is the most proactive snow safety tool you can carry into avalanche terrain. Shovel, Probe, & Transciever: Includes BCA Tracker2 beacon with harness, BCA shovel, and BCA Stealth 300 probe. All of the products are key components to a safe excursion in avalanche terrain.

Majestic Heli Ski Equipment

Crevasse Rescue Gear

Harness and Carabiner are provided for use while skiing in and around crevasses. Our harnesses come in a variety of sizes and will be sized to each guest during orientation.

Ski/Board Boots

Boots are the one item that we can’t provide, we suggest carrying your boots onto the plane.

Marker Sole ID bindings are ISO 5355 (alpine norm/19 mm height) and ISO 9523 boot soles (grip walk/28 mm height). Some touring boots may not work with our bindings!  Dynafit/tech bindings are not recommended for heli skiing, and we strongly suggest alpine bindings/alpine boots for heli skiing in AK.

Safety is Our Cornerstone

Majestic Heli Ski has created a culture of safety that colors every aspect of our operation. This starts with our professional guides and staff. Our expert guide team will assess the terrain and conditions and take you to the safest and best possible ski conditions. Plan on a safe, fun and memorable week.

Training & Teamwork

All guests will take part in a general orientation to familiarize you with what to expect during your stay. We will then do hands-on training regarding avalanche and mountain hazards, how to use our safety & rescue gear, companion rescue and skiing protocols. An aircraft briefing will educate you on helicopter procedures and safety.

Snow and weather conditions largely determine where we ski and the terrain often dictates how we move through it. Our guides will keep you informed about weather, terrain hazards, helicopter safety, skiing protocols, snow stability and avalanche hazards throughout each day. We rely on teamwork, and each person has a role in group dynamics and safety.
