Majestic Heli Ski has paired up with El Azufre Mountain Lodge in Argentina to deliver epic helicopter adventures deep in the spectacular Andes Mountains. From late-June to late-September, chase endless winter with pristine powder runs under blue skies, while indulging in amazing Argentinian cuisine and the world-famous wines of nearby Mendoza. Enjoy a scenic 20-minute helicopter from Los Molles into El Azufre Mountain Lodge’s remote setting where you will spend 7 days at our modern lodge with up to 14 guests total. 4 day trips are also available. Heli and snowcat skiing, as well as groomed trails, await you daily so there is sure to be great skiing for the whole group. Group
Your group will consist of up to four skiers/snowboarders and a minimum of one guide per group. Small group heli skiing & riding is the best way to enjoy an endless variety of terrain and pristine snow with skiers and riders of similar ability. Your seven-day package includes unlimited heli and cat skiing.
Helicopter
The A-Star B3 Helicopter from Airbus is a high-powered machine that is perfect for mountain flying and heli skiing. The A-Star accommodates 1 pilot, 1 guide, and up to 4 guests. Weight restrictions apply and can play a role in determining how groups are structured.
Vertical

Majestic and El Azufre Mountain Lodge have taken great care to ensure you have the perfect South American ski vacation. Not only have they partnered with local guides and experts, but they also created the program to maximize the skiing experience.
With cat skiing backup, no-fly days won’t affect your skiing experience. The snowcat is dedicated, so you are guaranteed to ski every day. The package also includes 6 full days of helicopter skiing and riding, so if you are blessed with great weather for the duration of your stay, you will fly every day.

Gear
El Azufre Mountain Lodge will provide you with the equipment you’ll need to safely enjoy untracked powder in the Andes backcountry. We’ll provide and train you with the latest and best equipment; powder skis, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, avalanche airbag backpack, radio, water bottle, and a harness with a carabiner.
Skiable Terrain
El Azufre Mountain Lodge is located in a remote area surrounded by the Andes mountain-range, where you will find South America’s greatest snow and virgin terrain, to carve out your own masterpiece.
Located deep in the Central Andes Mountain Range, with access to some of the best ski terrain in the southern hemisphere, you’ll be blown away by the expansive nature of the landscape. The El Azufre valley has volcanoes and 13,000 ft + peaks surrounding it. With over 450″ of snowfall annually, there is plenty of opportunity to find fresh tracks and seemingly endless deep turns.
Some of the descents are over 5,000 vertical feet directly to the base area. The El Azufre Mountain Lodge was designed to be the first sustainable ski resort. You’ll call this place home for 7 days as you enjoy locally grown food and some of the country’s best Malbec wines. Nothing beats Argentinian wine after a day out on the mountains.
Additional Notes
Transportation to and from El Azufre Mountain Lodge and the Mendoza, Argentina airport is included in your package. You will be picked up and transported either to a hotel to acclimate before your trip to El Azufre Mountain Lodge, or directly to the helipad in Los Molles where you will enjoy a very scenic twenty minute helicopter ride to basecamp. Homemade food, lodging and house wine and beer are included and premium wines and liquors can be purchased at the lodge. Guide/Staff Gratuity is not included.
