GREENLAND

Majestic Heli Ski Operations will expand into Greenland in spring 2027.
What to Expect
The same hospitality and attention to detail that guests have come to expect from Majestic extend seamlessly into our Greenland Experience. This is a ski adventure unlike any other. In Greenland, mountains and sea exist side by side, allowing guests to ski from mountaintops all the way to the beach. Snow conditions range from abundant polar powder on untouched slopes to exquisite corn snow. In May, Greenland delivers big vertical, long days filled with brilliant sunshine, and stunning blue skies.
Heli Skiing & Riding
Ski terrain in Greenland ranges from vast glaciated slopes to dramatic sea-to-summit chutes and couloirs. The variety of terrain satisfies nearly every skier—except those seeking tree skiing, as forests are scarce in the Arctic. While few mountains exceed 2,000 meters, they rise directly from the sea, delivering breathtaking views and exceptionally long ski runs. May marks prime heli-ski season, with a deep, stable snowpack and long days beneath the midnight sun to explore seemingly endless terrain. This largely uncharted destination continues to offer opportunities for first descents, drawing adventurous skiers to this Arctic haven.
ACCOMODATIONS
During your stay at Hotel Maniitsoq, meals are thoughtfully prepared and presented in a blended style of Danish and traditional Greenlandic cuisine. Menus feature local fish and seafood, steak, musk ox, and reindeer, alongside classic European dishes. When not skiing, guests have the opportunity to explore the beautiful village of Maniitsoq and experience the warm, welcoming culture of Greenland. At the end of each ski day, unwind with an après-ski celebration at the hotel’s ocean-view bar and restaurant.
